Fire District Updates       

• The Town of Newark signed a contract with the Town of Beloit Fire Department for fire service, to begin January 1, 2024.
• The contract is $100,000 for 2024 and increases by 6% every year after.
• Increased Shared Revenue from the State of Wisconsin can be and will be used for Fire Service and will be used toward the contract.
• 2% Fire Dues received from the State of Wisconsin will be used toward the contract.

Informational gatherings will be held at the Newark Town Hall:

Sunday, December 3 – 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, December 6 – 6:00 p.m.

A representative from the Town of Beloit Fire Department will join us to answer questions.
